Specialists in modern Royal Navy warship and merchant ship resources for the scale model maker including the Jecobin range of plans.

These plans have been carefully researched and drawn by Gerald L. Y. Hitch who is respected for the preparation of high standard scale plans and as a constructor of ship models.
The degree of detail suits the requirements of the advanced model maker as well as making them of interest in their own right to those interested in ships.
The plans were originally made to various scales with many being photographically or computer enlarged or reduced to other scales. It should be noted photographic scale changes do not reproduce the same quality of line as the original plans or as scale changes currently made by computer.
Choose from an outstanding range of 1/24, 1/35, 1/48, 1/64, 1/72, 1/96, 1/192 and 1/200 scale Royal Navy warship and merchant ship plans, but not all plans are available in each scale.
The majority of plans show full hull lines; the few that do not, have full hull sections at sufficient intervals to enable satisfactory hull construction (many models have been made from them).
Reduced sample sized drawings and A4 detail sheets are included in this online shop. The sole copyright owner for all images is Gerald L. Y. Hitch.
In support of the main plans a range of A4 sized detail sheets are available, showing sketches of items of equipment and of specific details / clarification of difficult to interpret areas of individual ships. Applicable detail sheets are also listed in the folders appropriate for each subject.
